Cleansing Rain: A Reflection on God's Word
As Christians, our purpose in life is crystal clear: to bring glory to God and spread the life-saving message of Jesus Christ. Once we accept God’s gift of grace, we are to become selfless instead of selfish, giving instead of greedy, fearless instead of fearful, thankful instead of boastful; all the while giving credit to God. In other words, we are no longer interested in earthly pursuits, for our treasure is in Heaven.
Our purpose on earth has eternal significance. We are no longer focused on temporary victories and selfish ambitions that will long be forgotten after we’re gone. Instead, we are called to share the promises, grace, and love of God with those in our circle of influence. And that my friends, has the power to change lives. How you live your life matters not only to you but to others. A life of faith will always be significant.
