A 40-Day Faith Challenge
Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20, that faith the size of a tiny mustard seed is powerful. So, let's plant those seeds and reap the harvest.
The Seed: God's Word
Cleansing Rain: A Reflection on God's Word
Each and every day we have decisions (many, many decisions) to make. What to wear, how to respond to an authority figure, what to do with our time, how to conduct ourselves in difficult situations, how to celebrate a victory, who to reach out to in love, how to serve our families, etc.
Thus, it is imperative that we commit our ways to the Lord because God is perfect love. His ways will always be the best course of action in our lives. God will use these acts of faith to transform our lives, to make us more holy or sanctified. He will accomplish good works through us, thus bringing Him glory. In other words, He will act.
What a powerful walk of faith- to make all your decisions, God-decisions. To turn over everything to God and trust him with your life. There is no indecision in forgiving someone, helping a neighbor, giving to those in need, or obeying a parent. You put your trust in God and walk in His will because you know that God works out everything for good for those who love Him. (Romans 8:8) That is faithful living, my friend, and you will bear much fruit.
